Abu Garcia Cardinal C5 Vintage Fishing Reel Set of 3! Used Good Condition

You are viewing an exceptionally rare set of three Abu C5 vintage carp reels.These classic 80’s Cardinals are well known for their smooth clutch drag system, they were something of a revolutionary step up from the Mitchell 300!These reels further obtained cult status when they featured in the classic Redmire ‘A passion for angling’ episode used by Bob James. (To be clear, not this specific set!)I have owned these reels from new, and very rarely use them nowadays, they are more appropriate for chub, tench and barbel than out and out carp reels, but the drag remains as good as it gets and these lovely old reels have years of life left in them. The spools retain the original graphics and line clip and are loaded with a mix of 6 and 8lb lines.These reels have been well used over the years, I last stripped and serviced them around two years ago and they have not been used since. During that service, I replaced a worn line roller on one of the reels, not able to source the individual part I purchased a complete rotor housing from Sweden - these spare parts are included in the sale.Please do study the pictures carefully, I have photographed each reel from all angles but if you need any other pictures please do ask.
