Allcock Aerial 7950 4" Narrow Drum, German Silver Rim, V-check. Circa 1930

Allcock Aerial 7950 4" Narrow drum, v-check, with nickel-silver rim.  Recently been to Garry Mills, where the grub screw was replaced and a custom made arbour fitted, using a 3D printer, individually made per reel. Assists with line retrieval as diameter increased. This reel dates from around the 1930s, in all likelihood it would have been retailed by someone like Farlows as the german-silver rim was an additional feature to the standard reel, this optional extra is mentioned in the Farlow's catalogues at the time.  I used this reel in the last two weekends of the river season, very minor wobble which decide to leave even after Garry tweaking it. I've posted a video to show it spinning. Good clean handles, foot has been filed slightly, probably to fit a salmon rod. Check in is good strong order in either direction. Will be posted RM next day delivery. For Delivery Monday-Friday. Not Saturday as that really is expensive nowadays.
