Ocean 42 twin screw motor cruiser. !980 build

"Lobster" is a 42 foot twin screw motor yacht built by Broom Boats at Brundle Norfolk, in 1980. Originally registered and based in Guernsey she has been moored in Falmouth Marina since 1999. Cruising history includes voyages to London (Windsor), the Scillies, Brighton and the Channel ports and marinas. She has three sleeping cabins: A very comfortable double with its own head (electric toilet) and shower plus very generous storage and dressing table etc. Starboard twin cabin with up and over bunks and a "V" berth to the bow both served by a bathroom with half bath/shower and electric toilet. Saloon includes 32 inch TV and BlueRay player, 4 Arm chairs and L shaped Settee. A recently refurbished galley has twin sinks plus glass topped four point electric hob, toaster and microwave. Hot water is provided by a very efficient immersion heater via shore power or a newish generator. A multi-point "Constavolt" ensures domestic, generator and engine batteries are fully charged at all times.   Navigation equipment includes saloon ("Sailor") and bridge mounted radios, Garmin sat nav and depth finder. Command position is from Bridge only as the saloon engine control system has been disconnected. New propellors and refurbished drive shafts were fitted in 2025. Engines are Volvo TAMD 60Bs.  The starboard engine is currently requiring major repair to the fuel injection system which the current owner - currently being treated for serious illness - is unable to undertake or organise.
