SUPERB VINTAGE DINGLEY MADE A CARTER&CO PILLARED FLY REEL

Superb example of a Uniqua style fly reel made by Walter Dingley . The reel was made for A Carter&Co of South Molton .The reel is engraved with L J GRAHAM CLARKE ,GLANRHOS , 1917 .This was Leonard John Graham Clarke who lived on and owned the Glanrhos estate on the banks of the river Wye near Rhaydor in Wales . He was a famous artist and well known fly fisherman. He invented the Glanrohs fly and Greenheart trout and salmon rods . These were made for him by A Carter&Co . I can only presume that this reel was made for and used him . Please see photos attached happy bidding .
