Vintage Hardy 3 1/8" Perfect Fly Fishing Reel.

Early according to the style of brand mark. 1896-1905.3 1/8 inch reel, has a full length brass foot. the tensioner seems to work as does the gear teeth, there is no play in the reel, but does seem to have a bit of stiffness at certain points on each turn. I have not opened it up to check, but there is no rattling, as if something has broken. it has sat unused for probably 50 years or more so probably just needs a clean and a service.I'm no expert, but I'll try my best to answer any questions. by all accounts it's a fairly rare and good one, offered with no reserve.check my other listing for a Hardy Silex no2 4 inch reel.
