Vintage "Clan" spinning rod, 8', 2 pce glass fibre, by Trossachs of Nethybridge

A vintage "Clan" 8' glassfibre salmon/sea trout spinning rod, made by the Trossachs Rodbuilding Co of Nethybridge, Scotland.As part of the rod's ID decal has disappeared, I searched online and a fellow fisherman on Facebook suggested it was a Clan rod. I have now had that confirmed by the current owner of Clan rods, which took over the Trossachs Rodbuilding Co in the 80s.He suggested that the rod dates from the late 50s or early 60s.This was my Dad's spinning rod which he used to great effect on rivers mainly in Scotland but also in Hampshire and Devon.The rod is in very good condition, there is some corrosion on the reel seating and the rings, but otherwise it's very sound.In original rod bag.
