Hardy 1896 Brass Perfect 4 1/4 Inch Fly Reel

I’m selling off a few reels in my collection to finance other purchases. This is a rare and very collectible Hardy Brothers 1896 brass perfect 4 1/4” reel with a block leather case. Has domed bone handle, block foot, strapped rim tension screw with Turks head nut and early calliper spring check. Open ball race with steel bearings. Slightly dished drum with two bands of large and small perforations. Faceplate has Rod in hand, enclosed oval and straight logos. Bit of west to the bronze patina from use. Turns well without any binding. Makes a lovely sound. No name on the matching leather block case. Any questions please get in touch.
