Description
Early vintage 3 3/4" dia. Hardy Silex casting reel. 1/4 of the frame missing as factory design but has had an additional opposite 1/4 of the frame removed at a later date, as shown. In great working condition with rim spool tension release, brake regulator and ratchet control and unfiled brass foot. Absolutely stunning internal workings stamped D for Dingley. Backplate stamped THE 'SILEX' and HARDY'S PAT. Please see all photos.
