Description
Vintage DAM Quick Junior Spinning Reel – Berlin SW68 – c.1953–1958 – Working OrderOriginal vintage DAM Quick Junior fixed spool fishing reel, made in West Germany and believed to date from the mid-1950s (approximately 1953–1958).This reel is finished in the attractive original burgundy/crackle red paint and is stamped “BERLIN SW.68” with serial number 08883 on the reel foot. The reel retains its original full metal bail arm, metal anti-reverse switch, metal handle arm and brown handle knob. It is in full working order with the bail operating correctly and the mechanism turning smoothly. Anti reverse switch is in full working order. Condition is good for its age, showing honest signs of use and wear, including paint loss to the reel foot and edges from years of being mounted on a rod. The original markings are clear and readable. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.A nice example of a classic post-war German DAM reel, ideal for collectors of vintage fishing tackle, DAM Quick reels, or anyone looking for an authentic period reel for display or use with a traditional rod.Details:* Manufacturer: D.A.M.
