Vintage "Edgar Sealey" Octopus ESS Coarse Fishing "Match Rod" 13 ft ...Restored

For auction is an "Edgar Sealey" "Octopus ESS" "Match Rod" approx 13 ft in lenght. Logos clear and readable.A vintage rod and a true survivor!It has been restored at some stage with the original tip and butt agatine? insert rings and new high bell intermediates. Whipped in two shades of green, there is slight leaking of the varnish finish in a couple of places.I believe it to be made from "Spanish Reed" butt, and middle which has a spliced split section. and a split cane tip.It is in good condition and comes with a non original blue bag. The cork handle has alloy sliding reel fittings and measures approx 25 1/2 inch. It weighs approx 14 1/4 ounces. It has the original alloy ferrule stops. Good ferrules.There is a slight set, or deviation to one side which i have attempted to photograph.
