Selling this lovely 8' two-piece split cane fly rod made by T H Sowerbutts & Sons, Commercial Road, London.Difficult to judge its age, however my research suggests it's probably circa 1950's.A classic vintage fly rod from this historic fishing tackle retailer. In superb condition, straight as a die.Dark green whippings. Original wooden ferrel stopper.Selling without a rod bag - original full of moth holes sadly!Could be used by an enthusiast who wants to fish "with a sense of nostalgia." Alternatively, would make an ideal addition to a collection of vintage fishing tackle.Inherited from my Late Brother-in-Law.
