For sale- Classic Seer rods Big Tench 11’ 9” Beautiful ‘old school’ float rod in very good used condition. Harrison Carbon blankFuji reel seat3 leg butt ring, 9 single leg intermediate and screw tip. Not 100% sure but they look like Seymo rings. Build completion 13th February 1994 - date on blank - Seer rods dated every build. Test curve approx 1 1/4lb. Black whippings with light brown trims and flourishing. Comes with original rod bag although it does have a hole in it which could be repaired. Seer rods was run by Andy Orme ( well known barbel/specialist angler of his time ) throughout the 1990s. Building high end, bespoke rods on Harrison blanks. Mostly specimen and float rods. Very well regarded and quite highly priced. Andy’s wife, Jill, was the actual rod builder and Andy fronted and promoted the company. Pretty sought after and collectible rods these days.
