Heddon 320 Vintage Fly Fishing Reel in Working Condition - Boxed

This item is a Boxed Vintage Heddon 320 Fly Fishing Reel in Working ConditionI've also heard it called the:Heddon DAISY No. #320 Fly Reel It's in good condition for the yearThere are scuffs, some missing paint but no damage or dentsThe ratchets/pawl works well and everything turns okThe spool easily detaches from the casingThe spool locking tab or lever works - an important point as otherwise the spool could fall off the rod when you're into a 30lb salmon! Although it hasn't been used for fishing for many years it could in theory be used tomorrow with some lubrication and a line fitted!BUT PLEASE NOTE that this item is also an 'antique' from the late 1950s/early 1960s, so although it functions well I would NOT recommend subjecting it to a 'tough-conditions' fishing tripIt was made in the USA and bought by my father in the UK, but as no-one in the family fishes (but me) then it's a shame to have this lovely reel in the atticIt should now go to someone who can appreciate and maybe restore itI'm guessing that eBayers out there looking for a reel like this will probably be collectorsPlease note that Ivalue my eBay customers and that if there are any problems – or if you are nothappy – I will take all possible steps to address and fix the problemHappy bidding!
