Mitchell Precision 30 Reel + Spare Spool

A Mitchell Precision 30 Reel with Spare spool. Here is a rare Mitchell Precision 30. They were made in China for Mitchell the late 1990's when Johnson Worldwide Associates owned Mitchell until the year 2000. This reel features 3 ball bearings, a fast 5.57:1 retrieve ratio, right or left hand retrieve, a counter balanced handle, a special "line control" bail, and silent anti-reverse. It was a new direction in design Mitchell started with it's reels which eventually led to the reels they manufacture now. It was also supposed to address minor flaws in the older Mitchell 300 series reels such as bail springs weakening and bails themselves getting bent or damaged. It is similar in size to the Mitchell 300. Line capacities: 6lb./175yrds., 8lb./145 yrds. But....as an added Bonus....I'm throwing in an extra Spool . The action on this reel is very balanced, smooth and the bail is unique. The design is futuristic if you grew up with the older Mitchells.
