Description
This Bruce & Walker CTM13A hand built rod is an iconic 13-foot vintage float fishing rod that was highly popular during the 1970s match fishing scene. Hand-built in England, it is characterised by its hollow glass fibre (fibreglass) construction and its "Compound Taper" (CTM) design, which provides a progressive action suitable for traditional coarse fishing. Key Specifications and Features:-Material: Three-piece hollow glass fibre blank.Handle: Long cork handle (29 inches) featuring sliding alloy reel rings for flexible reel placement.Guides: finished with burgundy whipped guides and includes original rubber protection stopper on the 3rd (smaller section) of the rod.Action: Known for a "compound taper" that is sensitive enough for float control while offering enough power for playing species like chub and tench. The rod is in used but really great condition (please refer to pics). It comes with what I believe was its original cloth bag, but sadly the bag has seen better days (again pics refer). The rod can be Collection Only, or via Post (Parcelforce 48). Will be delivered in a hard case plastic rod tube with additional protective bubble-wrap packing inside to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.Any questions please feel free to ask - many thanks and happy bidding.
