The top section was snapped approx. 100mm above the ferrule. It has been repaired with a solid insert epoxy resin and whipping. The repair can be seen just above the 3rd ring. The butt section is perfect as is the rest of the rod. So if you want a great make at a bargain price that is quite functional but obviously not in 1st class condition grab a bargain. The butt section, tube and bag are probably worth the starting price on their own.As pics
