Early J.W Young & Sons Rapidex 4" Centrepin Fishing Reel

Classic J.W Young and Sons Rapidex 4" centrepin fishing reel. Early version with a smooth (not stippled) front and back plate finish and embossed hub cap. Front adjustable drag. Rear mounted check lever. A great trotting reel, but also suitable for leger and stillwater float. The reel is in fine condition, some paint loss commensurate with age, mainly on the foot and cage. Spins nicely with a very slight wobble. The reel will be serviced before sending out. Not at all common and very collectable with the embossed centre cap and flat finish. Perfectly useable for those who appreciate collecting vintage tackle. Thanks for looking!
