Grice & Young Ltd Avon Royal Eagle, Super quality, very sturdy and well made, the reel is in very good. Condition with minor wear from normal use, but was made itge 70s so around 50 years old, spins effortlessly as pr video,, it's as a check aluminium check or engagement switch, so can go from free Trotting to the clicker in a second, Great for barbel and Trotting for chub, also for carp in the margins, no alarms needed with the loud clicker engaged,, as it's made from alu aluminium and stainless steel would also suit certain sea fishing situations but that's not my expertise, it also as a five point slide brake type lever to slow spool down, a serious reel,, Great to collect or use, with blue badge and grice and young metal badge, a rare reel it as all the parts in great condition and also the spare pawl fitted it the back, its the wide drum version and 3.5 inch spool,,
