I bought this second hand about 8 months ago, i have used is only for Conger eel fishing a handful of times, what use there has been before that i couldn't say.Reel works fine only for the ratchet, which seems to be missing, this wasn't mentioned when I ordered it and is the main reason for selling as I need a ratchet for the Conger set ups.If you dont use a ratchet the reel works fine.
