Centre Pin Fishing Reel

This reel has been in the family for over 65 years. Was my dad’s and handed down to me . I’m led to believe it was what they called a Friday night reel which was made at Stanton iron works in a Friday night when the gaffers were not there. Some say made by Harry Reynolds? It’s a very early version as it has no rachett system or handles to retrieve the line. You have to cup the drum with the palm of your hand. It spins silently and for ages with no squeaks or buckles in the drum. Really nice condition for saying how old it is.
