Vintage Hardy “The Gold Medal Rod” 12ft 3 piece (plus spare tip) Palakona split cane Fly Rod in good condition. Lockfast joints, burgundy eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and eye rings, and a 17” cork and wooden handle with a sliding lock ring reel seat. This twin tip rod, stamped E55960 (1942) comes with turned hardwood stoppers and in its original Hardy 4 pocket cloth bag. Un - assembled length 129cm. 500
