A beautiful vintage 10ft split cane carp / specimen fishing rod complete with a set to top section and original cloth bag. This is a very well-made traditional British cane rod dating approximately from the 1950s–1960s and strongly influenced by the classic B. James / Richard Walker style of build. Features include: Split cane construction 10ft length Traditional red intermediate silk whippings Black tipped guide whippings Agate lined butt ring Alloy sliding reel bands Cork handle Original cloth rod bag The decorative whipping pattern and overall build quality are very much in the style of quality English carp rods from the Walker era.
