Vintage Allcocks The Aerial Popular 4” Centrepin Reel Wide Drum

A vintage Allcock & Co “The Aerial Popular” 4 inch wide drum centrepin fishing reel, made in Redditch England. A classic traditional centrepin reel dating from approximately the 1930s–1940s, featuring: 4” diameter wide drum Original black finish Brass foot and fittings Twin cream/xylonite handles Detachable spool Spare spool included Rear check mechanism Stag trademark and registered design markings The reel spins well and the check engages correctly. Condition is good vintage used condition with obvious age-related wear, surface marking and finish loss to the face plates as shown in the photographs. No cracks or major damage noted. A very honest original example.
