Vintage Split Cane & Bamboo Salmon Landing Net Frame Brass Ferrule 1930s A beautiful vintage traditional landing net frame constructed from split cane and bamboo with brass fittings and triangular folding frame design. Likely dating from the 1930s–1950s, this is a classic British game fishing landing net, ideal for salmon or sea trout fishing and equally attractive as a display or collector’s piece. The frame features:Measures Pole 106cm Ner measuring 89cm x 64cm x 64cm Split cane and bamboo construction Brass ferrule and end cap Traditional whipped frame joints Triangular folding frame Original varnished finish Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with attractive aged patina. Cane appears sound with no obvious breaks noted. Brass fittings clean with age-related wear. Some general cosmetic marks and varnish wear consistent with age and use. Net mesh absent.
