Description
A scarce and highly collectible early Scottish salmon fly reel retailed by Graham & Co of Inverness and strongly attributed to Walter Dingley manufacture. This is an attractive 3 3/4” wide drum alloy salmon fly reel dating to approximately 1915–1925, featuring classic early Dingley characteristics including the internal horseshoe spring check mechanism, brass spindle arrangement, brass foot and ivorine handle. The reel retains a superb untouched appearance with attractive aged finish and original character throughout. Condition: Good original vintage condition with honest wear, rim rubbing, oxidisation and age marks consistent with use. No obvious cracks or repairs noted.
