Rare vintage Hardy “The Fairy” 10ft 3 piece (plus spare tip) Palakona split cane twin tip Fly Rod in very good condition. Lubricated & protected nickel silver shoulder joints, green eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stoppers and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. Rod stamped C13750 (1921) comes with its original Hardy cloth bag and screw top alloy tube included.Condition:* Cane straight, no repairs or sets* Eyes and whipping sound * Stamping and markings present* Varnish very good* Cork handle clean and complete* Bag and tube intact This rare Fly Rod rod is a very good example from the renowned British rod builder Hardy of Alnwick.Tube length 110cm. 723
