Rare early Hardy “Victoria Salmon” 14ft 3 piece (plus spare tip) Palakona split cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Copper wound Lockfast joints, red eye and intermediate whipping, lined butt and tip rings, original Hardy rubber butt cap and a 26” cork handle with sliding screw grip reel seat. The Victorian Salmon was produced from 1902 - 1939, this particular twin tip rod stamped E15271 was built in 1929. Original Hardy 4 pocket khaki cloth bag included.Condition:* Cane straight, no repairs or sets* Eyes and whipping sound * Stamping and markings present* Varnish, blemishes and slight crinkle consistent with a rod of this age.
