A lovely vintage fibreglass float fishing rod marked “Superflex Special”, measuring approximately 12ft 4in and supplied with its original cloth bag. Classic British coarse fishing rod dating from the 1960s/70s period, finished in attractive reddish-brown woven fibreglass with brass ferrules, cork handle and stand-off guides. An excellent example of the type of float and general coarse fishing rods used on rivers and stillwaters during the golden age of match fishing. The rod breaks down into sections for transport and retains its original vintage appearance.
