A lovely vintage J.S. Sharpe “The Scottie” 9ft split cane fly rod, made in Aberdeen, Scotland, serial number 8902. An attractive traditional two-piece trout fly rod finished in beautifully flamed split cane with burgundy wraps, alloy reel seat and original cloth bag with Sharpe’s label. The rod presents very well and appears to retain original fittings throughout. A classic Scottish-built cane rod with the smooth progressive action Sharpe rods are known for.
