Vintage Hardy Bros No.1 LRH Spinning Rod Palakona Split Cane Fishing Rod E97801 An original Hardy Bros. Alnwick No.1 L.R.H. Spinning Rod in Palakona split cane, complete with its original Hardy cloth bag and ferrule protector. A highly collectible Hardy spinning rod dating from the early post-war period and bearing serial number E97801. Built using Hardy’s famous Palakona split cane construction with alloy reel fittings, agate-lined butt guide and traditional Hardy craftsmanship throughout. Features Hardy Bros. Cane appears straight and sound but comes out ant an anngle from cork , but not a set . Original varnish and whippings remain present. Ferrules fit correctly. Cork handle shows honest wear and ridging from use. Original Hardy bag included with age-related wear to the label and stitching.
