Length: 10ft Two-piece construction Rated for a #6 fly line Split cane blank Original cloth rod bag included Cork handle in good condition Uplocking reel seat Original guides and whippings Attractive honey-coloured cane with green intermediates Condition is very good for its age. The rod is straight with sound ferrules and clean cane throughout. There is some age-related varnish crazing/flaking around the inscription area as shown in the photographs, together with light cosmetic wear consistent with careful use. Original cloth bag included. A scarce British-built split cane fly rod from Davenport & Fordham and an excellent addition to a vintage tackle collection or for traditional fly fishing.
