Vintage Ward "1971" 240cm 8 Ft Cane 2-Pce Fly Fishing Rod - VGC - Herefordshire

This is a vintage cane 2-piece fly fishing rod with cork handle - 8 foot overall - made by Ward. and marked as a "1971". Lightweight at approx 150g.Lovely piece - beautifully made and ready to fish. - The bag may not be original but is a good size and keeps it all together.Display or renovation - its an impressive piece with cork handle and aluminium reel fittings. High-quality rod  without damage. There is no screw in plug in the butt but it looks as if it has been removed some time ago - the threaded connector on the bottom is in good condition.Hopefully the pictures describe it –- I’ll answer any questions I can but viewing is recommended – I am no expert.
