very old unusual vintage AMP A.M.P. brass fly fishing reel winch 3.25" starback

for sale here is really Very very old and unusual fishing reel , never ever seen anything quite like it , simply marked AMP or A.M.P. on the back but one thing is for sure its probably the oldest reel i have ever had..it has an on/off check slider on the back , starback too , centre locking wingnut , handles look original but have seen better days , foot has been shortened one end , but remarkably it works reasonably well , i dunno if its english or american but just a very unusual reel and looks to be all original..i seen tens of thousands of reels but never seen one like this before..its surely gotta be 1850,s -1880s around that era but what do i know..... ........please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week.... please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is w666fly if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
