Vintage J S Sharpe 9ft 2-pc Split Cane Fly Fishing Rod & Bag - VGC Herefordshire

This is a vintage J S Sharpe (Aberdeen) 9ft two-piece " The Scottie" split cane fly fishing rod – used and in very good clean condition. It is in its original sleeve / bag which is dusty from storage but not significantly damaged.A quality cane rod made in Aberdeen - Scotland with a complete set of eyelets - ring at base and top and snake in between - and a good cork handle with minimal damage. A classic rod ideal for for trout and fly fishing in excellent condition.Length: 9ft - two piece - split cane blank with no cracks - reel seat in full working orderHopefully the pictures describe it - I’ll answer any questions I can but I am no expert.Collection and any trial (WR6 – halfway between Hereford and Worcester) is welcome – Happy to post in a tube with Parcelforce and I can deliver locally if that helps.Clearing out some bits and pieces so please check my other listings for a variety of working tools and other odds and ends - thanks for looking.
