80. Antique Allcocks Stanley Threadline Reel

I have for sale an antique Allcocks Stanley Threadline reel. This is the first of this model that I am selling.This is the forerunner of the modern Fixed Spool Reel and allowed Anglers to use much finer lines and to cast further than with a Centrepin reel thus improving presentation and access to fish.This reel is in good condition and everything works perfectly.It does however have some paint loss which is not uncommon in these "ancient" examples. This can be seen in the photographs.I am happy to answer any questions but please do not ask for a buy it now price as I always allow the auction to run its course.  The buyer will not be disappointed.
