Rare vintage and early W A Macleay and Son Salmon Rod” 16ft 3 piece (plus spare tip) steel centred split cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass lock fast ferrules, red eye and intermediate whippings, lined rings throughout on butt and centre sections, snake eyes on tip sections and a 27” cork handle with single brass slip ring reel seat. The twin tip rod comes in its original, very tatty, W A Macleay 4 pocket khaki cloth bag. Note, the replacement eye on the centre section is not the correct type.
