Vintage Pezon et Michel “Parabolic Grilse” 10ft 6” #7/8, 2 piece split cane fly rod, made and retailed by Farlow’s of London and dating to circa 1968 (rod number F 68.12.422). Suction ferrule, red tipped yellow whipped snake eyes, turned hardwood stopper and a 22” cork handle with single alloy slip ring reel seat Built using high-quality Pezon et Michel Tonkin cane and finished in Great Britain, this rod features the renowned parabolic action associated with Charles Ritz designs—ideal for traditional salmon or grilse fishing.Condition:. very good for age. . The cane is straight with no sets observed. . Original whippings, guides and ferrules are all intact. . Varnish shows light age-related wear but remains presentable. Cork handle is clean with light use. . Supplied with original Farlow’s cloth bag (showing wear consistent with age).
